Stunning Okinawa

We loved our time in Okinawa.

Okinawa is a Japanese island located in the East China Sea. It is known for its beautiful beaches, rich culture, and history.

The island was an independent kingdom for nearly three centuries and was a significant site of World War II.

Visitors can explore the ruins of ancient castles, visit museums dedicated to the history of the island, and enjoy traditional Okinawan music and dance performances.

Okinawa is also home to many delicious local dishes, including the famous Okinawa soba noodle.

The island's warm climate and clear waters make it a popular destination for swimming, snorkeling, and diving.

The island also has a large US military presence, which has led to the development of many American-style amenities and services.
